Photomontage is a type of collages where two or more pictures are combined together to make a new one. This is done by digitally editing the pictures together so they create a seamless photographic print. Photomontage can be used to portray a certain message, to show a surrealist approach, to show connections between objects/people/scenes and so on. As shown in the pictures above, the topic of Photomontage can be approached on a big or a small scale and can easily be shot on location or in the studio. However, this topic requires a lot of planning and creative thinking as photographers need to know in advance of what they are going to photograph and how they are going to do this so that they are able to put it together on Photoshop.
