Annotated Pictures:

This picture shows a road representing a swimming pool. This portrays the length of the lanes found in swimming pool, showing that once you're in the water, the lanes seem to be longer. However, as this picture is ambiguous, it can be argued that it suggests symbolism; showing the long road of training a professional swimmer has to take in order to be ready to compete.

Unlike most pictures behind the theme of Photomontage, this one contains photographs of the same scene rather than different scenes being put together. The idea of photo joiner has been used here, creating a collage of a street.

This picture combines picture shot on location and in the studio, which makes it more exciting. The water that has been edited in the subject's hands show a connection between the individual and the scene in the background. Also, the hands look feminine so suggest they belong to a woman, showing delicacy and emphasising on the stillness of this scene.

In this picture, the bridge has been made to look comic like and to draw attention from viewers. By editing this picture in this particular way, the photographer has created an exciting picture, giving off the impression of adventure and a sense of journey.
